Le Vice-Premier ministre et ministre de la Fonction publique, Jean-Pierre Lihau, a procédé, mercredi 26 novembre 2025, au lancement officiel des activités de l’agence de la Caisse nationale de sécurité sociale des agents publics de l’État (CNSSAP) à Bunia, chef-lieu de la province de l’Ituri.
Cette cérémonie marque une étape majeure dans la mise en œuvre de la réforme sociale initiée par le chef de l’État. Pour Junior Matata, directeur général de la CNSSAP, il s’agit d’« un symbole fort de la réforme sociale qui consacre une révolution historique, mettant fin à des décennies d’injustice envers les agents publics de l’État ».
Il a souligné que « cette réforme vient mettre fin au calvaire jadis traversé par les fonctionnaires de l’État, le temps où la mise à la retraite était synonyme de la mort ; le temps où les veuves et les orphelins étaient abandonnés à leur triste sort ».
Le directeur général a également invité les agents publics à se rapprocher de la CNSSAP pour effectuer les démarches de socialisation et bénéficier des services premium désormais disponibles. « L’établissement de référence dédié aux agents publics de l’État est déjà opérationnel. Que les agents viennent pour les opérations de socialisation, d’intégration et pour diverses réclamations », a-t-il insisté.
En marge de cette cérémonie, Jean-Pierre Lihau a sensibilisé plusieurs militaires, policiers et veuves sur l’importance de la CNSSAP et les avantages qu’elle offre. Il a également visité l’hôpital militaire de Tsere (Umir), où il a apporté son soutien aux militaires blessés lors des récents affrontements avec les forces négatives.
Conformément à son agenda officiel, le ministre de la Fonction publique rencontrera ce jeudi les chefs coutumiers à l’exécutif Lodje, avant de s’envoler pour Kisangani.
