L’agence belge de coopération internationale (Enabel), a réaffirmé son engagement en faveur du développement et de la promotion de l’égalité de genre en République Démocratique du Congo (RDC), à travers son projet « Unis pour l’égalité de genre ».
Lors d’une mission officielle à Bunia, Madame Lies Vanmullem, programme manager d’Enabel en RDC, a annoncé deux objectifs majeurs :
- L’installation du nouveau chef de projet récemment nommé à Bunia
- L’évaluation des activités en cours, avec un appui ciblé au renforcement des capacités du personnel, notamment dans les domaines des finances et des contrats
Madame Vanmullem a souligné que ce projet accorde une attention particulière à la formation et à la réinsertion socio-économique des jeunes, en mettant l’accent sur les filles et les femmes vulnérables.
« Ces formations visent à doter les jeunes de compétences techniques et entrepreneuriales leur permettant de s’insérer dans la vie active », a-t-elle précisé.
Enabel organise actuellement plusieurs sessions de formation en partenariat avec Caritas, son principal collaborateur sur le terrain.
